The sittings of the council are public. Citizens attending a sitting of the council may put oral questions to the members of the council. These questions can be answered immediately by the Mayor or a designated council member or if additional information or verification is required, will be answered at a later date. At the Village of Senneville, a question period takes place at the beginning of the sitting and a second one at the end. The rules governing the conduct of council meetings are set in "Bylaw # 387 on the internal governance of council meetings." You will find attached the Protocol for Public Participation - Please view.Â
Regular sittings take place on the fourth Monday of the month at Town Hall. When the fourth Monday falls upon a holiday, such sitting shall be held on the following Tuesday or at a later date set by Council in accordance to Law.
